Due to the growing need of better using and understanding increasing amounts of data, the demand for statistics is rising. For statisticians this implies not only opportunities, but also challenges. One of these odd (and old) couples is Bayesian statistics and its communication. Good communication is particularly important for the Bayesian approach, since it is still not unanimously accepted and often misconceived. The session’s scope is to discuss experiences and recommendations for communicating Bayesian topics, between statisticians and their customers as well as among statisticians only.
